Notes: Although I do not owe the rights of CastleVania SoTN,
I do owe the rights to some characters. All other characters are based and

which is owed and copy-written by Anne Rice. The story takes place in the
modern time. Please enjoy.
Prologue 1
Once human, the
fallen comrades are forced to act like they are in harms way. They are no
longer in the chains of the mortal bonds they were forced to live by. They are
free. They are a higher race than the idiotic man. They will no longer listen
to the Belmont that made them what they are. The trio awaited in
the throne room, awaiting orders from their dark master. They wait for the time
that they will show their loyalty to their master. He is a living nightmare of
endless death. And he waits for
the Belmont, the one who curse them into this state or curse ruling. Perhaps
the Belmont may cause him some fun…
Maybe become his
new bride.
Prologue 2
“Flight 582 to
Tirgovse,” the speakers blared out, “will be leaving at 12:45. Please, all
passengers boarding this flight report to the boarding as soon as possible.” As the voice blared
onto the speakers repeating its’ message, I was trying to get some good seats
on the plane. Of course, my newfound friend, Alucard, was having a bit of
trouble trying to adjust to the technological advances. His keen senses wonder
around the airport, wondering of where that voice came from. It must be
difficult for someone like him. Even thou, his clothing is elegant…he just
didn’t belong in this era. “Mortals who speak
within the air?” Alucard asked as he looked up at the ceiling, “How can one
possess such power?” “Sir please!!!” I
begged as I tugged on his arm, “We got to catch our plane before it leaves!!” “Catch a plane? You
mean monsters dwell along these halls?!!” This was going to
be harder than I thought. How was I going to teach a four hundred year old half
vampire about the modern society we live in? It seems childish for someone like
me teaching someone like him. I should be looking up to him for teaching. But
I’ll guess I’ll have some training before the battle begins. “Sir,” I calmly
replied as I started to drag him along, “I’ll tell you everything you need to
know once we board the plane. Besides, this is the way mortals can touch the
sky without getting hurt.” “Touch the sky??”
Alucard question with a curious look placed of his face, “How long have I been
asleep from my slumber?” “You’ve been
asleep pretty long if you don’t know about these modern advances to our society
sir. Please, follow me sir, or else we’ll be late.” I had no other
choice but to drag my friend to our flight. Something told that is was going to
be one of those days that everything would just go wrong. As I hurried to
drag my friend along, a set of eyes was glowing into the darkness of the night.
Its eyes glimmered at the two mortals boarding their shuttle onto the plane.
Soon, they will be its next victims.

Shaft opened his
eyes, awakening from his silent prayer. “They are coming,”
Shaft muttered to himself, “but the Belmont isn’t ready. She will serve no real
threat to us.” Xia stepped out of
the shadows as she looks towards the priest. “Don’t be so sure,”
Xia replied, “she may look weak but she can handle anything.” “Nonsense. I sent
one of my master’s monsters after the young Belmont to test her skill. For once
her power is awaken, her real challenge will begin.” “Do you think so?
I bet she’ll defeat him and your master. And why is she supposed to go after
him? Shouldn’t his son do the job?” The dark priest
turns around as he glared at the young ninja. “You dare
questioned my dark lord?” Shaft questioned as he gazed upon her, “You dare
questioned my dark lord’s power, you primitive mortal?” “Hey!!” Xia
yelled, “I ain’t a damn monkey!!” “Silence!!! You
disobey your pledge, so don’t bother to talk!!” “I’m in here so I can
get rid of YingGirl, not to give in my soul to this “Count Dracula” jerk!!! And
who died and made you boss?” “I was the one who
resurrected the count in the first place.” “Y-you? But you’re
an old man!! Why do you need Dracula in the first place?” Shaft smirked as
he laughed. “You’re right,”
Shaft replied, “I don’t need him. When the young Belmont is defeated, I will
appear and kill the count myself. With his powers of purified chaos, I will
rule this world.” “So,” Xia said with a sly smirk as
she started to draw out her weapon, “you’re backstabbing your own master to get
a higher power? That’s not a bad idea.” “The master found
out that the last Belmont is a girl. He will do whatever it takes to bring her
to his darkness. I find that plan stupid!! When I rule, I’ll make sure no
mortal will live.” “I don’t think so.
I, will be the one to rule this planet…by defeating YOU!!!” “What’s this?!!!” Xia lunged at the
old priest as she raised her weapon, a legendary katana sword. With one quick
impalement swipe, she knew she would defeat the old priest and take in charge
of the castle. That would be something the YingGirl will never even take
away. The priest gave a
smile at her…for what reason?
Then she realized
that the priest has deceived her!!! He was holding onto her blade! “No wonder your
plans were destroyed by the young Belmont,” Shaft said, “you are a poor fool to
disobey your orders.” The moment he said
this, he instantly crush the sword with his own bare hands. Xia jumped back as
she watched shatters of her sword fall onto the ground. This wasn’t any
ordinary sword, this was a sword given to her by her teacher. “You…” Xia cried as
she tried to recollect the pieces of her sword, “you destroyed my sword.” “It would have been
your neck child,” Shaft growled as he looked at Xia, “now get back to your
post. We don’t want the Belmont to enter this castle as it was a maze of
sorts.” “Yes sir…” “And clean up this
mess. My lord hates when his castle is a plague of rats.” Shaft turned around
as he began to walk away. Xia just looked at Shaft with some watery eyes. It
seems that the priest didn’t care about actual life at all. She will never
questioned about him or this count. She paused her
cleaning as she started to think. She wondered if what she is doing the right
thing?

Well, I can say my
gym class had taught me one thing, to keep a tight grip. We both entered the
plane, taking our seats in the coach section. We could have gotten on the plane
much faster if Alucard didn’t try to attack the security machines. You would
think he was more of a curious kitten than a young gentleman. And this is the
same Alucard who brought down his own father. I wonder if the stories, which my
dad told me, had some hidden defects. It was the only proof I had that my
friend wasn’t lying. It could have been
worse. He could have been pretending to be the Vampire Lestat and causing
devious mischief. I hate that vampire. I wish he would just go away. He did go away…but
he made his return in yet another critical novel. If you wonder, the
year that devious vampire known as Lestat made his second fledgling in the same
year my great ancestral grand father, Richter Belmont, began to face against
the count. Perhaps this could mean vampires, from what clan they emerge from,
are one in the same. “Lestat?” Alucard
questioned, “Could this vampire be you first challenge, young Belmont?” “No sir!!!” I cried
out as I felt I bit shocked, “He’s just another popular vampire icon, sir.
People adore this fictional character because of his charm and the way he
constantly breaks the rules.” Great. He can read
thoughts. Why don’t I sound so surprised about that? I looked back at my
friend. First time I had seen someone who is taller than me. Strange, he does
have the same features as this fictional “brat” vampire, expect for his eyes.
Lestat’s eyes were always grey, but they can easily absorb blue or violet.
These eyes, even thou they shine beautifully, hide the shallowness of his cursed
soul. But when I look at my dampeal friend’s eyes, they shimmer a glistening
gold. I felt a warm of trust and seduction. I also felt some uncertain
coldness. Perhaps, he wasn’t used to mortals to look at his golden eyes. I slightly blushed
a little. I felt like I should be out of his presence, but he was in fact
searching for me. Like I was the one he truly ever desired… “Young Belmont!”
Alucard cried as he slight shook me, “I’m so sorry for letting you look at me.
Mortals fall under a trance when they stare at my eyes. It’s a part of my
cursed bloodline….” “Huh?” I asked
feeling a bit out of it, “Fall under a trance?” “You still have
lots to learn, young Belmont. If you couldn’t handle this, then how will you
expect to handle my father’s illusions?” “But your eyes were
beautiful sir. I am so sorry that I couldn’t help myself sir.” “Don’t be sorry.
Just be careful, young Belmont.” I looked at my
friend, feeling a bit hurt for what he said. I couldn’t help myself, admiring
his beauty. He pulled his hands off of my shoulders, knowing I was awake. He
then calmly looked around the coach area. “We are the only
ones here,” Alucard whispered as he looked around, “I sense danger awaits for
us.” “People don’t like
traveling to ruin places,” I replied to ease my friend’s tension, “there isn’t
any danger. Let’s go take our seats before the plane takes off.” “If you say so,
young Belmont.” “Please don’t call
me that sir. It sounds if you were addressing to a boy.” “I was hoping the
next one would be male. You are too young to fight him.” “You say that a
woman can’t handle Count Dracula?” “No. There was one
woman who took down him….” “There was?” “Yes. The first
member of the Belmont clan…Sonia Belmont.” “Sonia Belmont? She
must be cool. How did you meet up with her? Can you tell me everything you know
about her?” He softly chuckled
with a smile on his face. “Oh my,” Alucard
said, “you sound just as eager as Sonia when we first encounter.” “I am?” I asked in
confusion, “Please tell me sir.” “Very well then.
You seem like the type who’s willing to learn a thing or two.” He sat calmly in
his seat and began his tale. I
listened in to hear every detailed of the story, thinking it was my father
telling them than my newfound friend. But I’m glad there
is someone that knows my father’s stories; it helps me over come my loneliness
of loosing parents at a young age.

It was the year
1450 in the countryside of Romania. The darkness has infiltrated the
countryside, turning the vast land into a place of nightmares. The people, who
live there, serve as servants to the dark lord. It seems that ever since the
count was executed, the country was filling with dread and darkness. There was
no hope for this place. Darkness was everywhere…it almost looked like the count
has won. Or has he? During that time,
there was a young lady who is known as Sonia Belmont. She was definitely making
a scene of herself. And had the looks too, a slender young female with golden
blond hair (in which she kept in a braid). She wanted to go against the count, for what he did to her homeland…and
her father. She was much different than the other women in the village. Yet in
her, held the greatest power that would bring the dark count to his knees. She travelled into
the woods, unleashing her whip to send these dark monsters back to where they
came. She was in training for the battle that was about to come. While she continued
her solitary training, two eyes pieced out of the darkness. Both dangerously, yet
eerily beautiful. She had no other choice but to stop, and wait for the
creature to present itself. “Who goes there?!!”
Sonia yelled out as she tightens her whip, “I know you’re there, so it’s best
for you to come out and show yourself!!!” The visitor had no
other choice but present it-self. There stood a traveler, he was unlike any
traveler Sonia had crossed, or any monster. His face was human, yet was dressed
almost as the vampire that was in this area. “You must be
another one of Dracula’s henchmen,” Sonia somewhat snorted, “I’ll make sure
I’ll send ya straight towards him in hell” “I cause no
trouble,” the gentleman replied as he looked up at her. “If you’re not a
monster. I don’t know what you are, sir.” “If I was one of
Dracula’s henchman, we would be engaged in a battle right about now.” “You’re right about
that. So what brings you here into the forest?” “There is a
darkness that is covering this land and will soon try to cover this world as
well. I warn you, for the real battle will be much more difficult than these
beasts roaming around in the woods.” “What? How can you
say such a thing? Who are you anyway?!!” The gentlemen
walked towards her as he grabbed onto her hand and lightly kissed onto it. She
slightly blushed, since no other man will have the curtsey to do such a thing. “I am known as
Alucard,” he replied as he looked up to the hunter, “I’ve been watching you. I
feel terrible sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable.” “Are you an angel?”
Sonia asked as she slightly blushed. “I’m no angel. I’m
just a man trying to make a difference.” “Make a difference?
But how?” “I must find a way
to take my own father down…but I can’t do it.” “What?!!! Count
Dracula is your father?!!” Silence. “Yes,” Alucard
cried as a silent whisper, “he is my father…” “But why aren’t you
acting like him?” Sonia questions as she looked at the young damphile. “Because we decide
our fate. It’s something I have learned from my mother. My fate is to find a
way to put an end to my father, while yours is a way to end this darkness.” “Well…if I can’t do
it, who will stop him? It had taken my grandfather and now, my home as well.” “How true. We seem
to run the same destiny in order to put an end to this darkness. Perhaps we
shall meet once again. I must face this destiny to a destiny on my own. Please
be careful…Belmont. I don’t want you to end up having the same fate as being
his victim.” He then looked back at Sonia, and then he returned to his journey
through the woods. “Wait!!!” Sonia
cried out, “You don’t have to do this alone!!! I can help you!! You just don’t
have to be an outsider!!!” But it was too
late…he was already gone. Sonia wondered what did Alucard mean. She had no time
to think about it. Another batch of monsters appeared to once challenge her
once again. She had no other choice but to fight these demons in hopes to save
her town from this curse destruction.

As we took our
seats, the plane calmly started to set off. It was going to be a long 10-hour
trip till we reached our final destination. My friend was so well at story
telling…but nothing could beat my dad’s stories, even thou he wasn’t me actual
dad. I wondered; if I die right now…would I be able to be re-united with the
parents I’ve lost so long ago? He then paused,
letting himself be utterly quiet. “Sir…” I asked as I
sat next to him, “what’s wrong?” “There’s something
on the plane,” Alucard muttered, “someone on this will be testing your skills,
young Belmont.” “Right.” I gripped
onto my locket. Whatever it was…it was going to have a visit from YingGirl:
Champion of Justice!!! The plane started
to turn into an endless void of darkness. Both of us knew what was going on.
This plane was just a figment of our imagination to cover the trap that lied
ahead. “Young Belmont,”
Alucard said as he drew his weapon, “this will be a part of your training. You
must be prepared.” The words were
forming in my mouth once again. The locket, which was a gift to my furry friend
Caramel, was sensing my strength.It
was time. I stood in my position as I raised my locket to the skies. “Powers of light
surging into my veins…” I chanted as I felt the magic of the locket, “please
grant me the powers I ask for. Help me vanquish this evil that threatens
mankind!” Alucard stepped
back as he watched the mystical broach shimmering its light. The powers from
this broach transformed my regular clothing of jeans and a cotton shirt to a
legendary soldier’s fuku. I must admit. I do
have a slender like body to wear this suit. Even thou my appearance as a normal
girl may look like a total loser…yet with this suit, I can do whatever I want
without any hassles. I felt good about myself for being the one, out of billion
of other people to wear this fuku with honor. A great warrior who
protected protect a princess that can summon a legendary firebird once wore the
suit. But this is all a tale, it hasn’t become real…yet. I turned to
Alucard, giving out a sly smirk across my face. “How do you like it
sir?” I questioned to him as I bowed, “my mentor Caramel offered me this gift.” “It’s quite an
amazement on how you powers evolve,” Alucard replied as he studied the fuku, “I
have seen Belmonts becoming invincible…but never have I seen one transforming
into a new identity.” “That was harsh
sir.” Before Alucard
could answer, another one of Dracula servants leaped out of the void. His skin
was green, yet his eyes were like ember as he stood right in front of us…a
full-grown fire demon.
